DLFC based on Tank Diameter and lower flows used for Carbon tank applications, so choose carefully your tank diameter and either "Carbon" or for all other "media", select "Filter".

Uses external Drain Line Flow Control of either 3/4" ( for Backwash rates higher than 7.0 gpm )
or for higher backwash flow rates, the 1" version ( requires bushing to attach to valve ) currently $ 30.00 extra.

Also Note:
"Carbon Filter" assumes the media tank is using only Carbon with Gravel under bedding.
"Filter Backwash" assumes the media tank is using something "Heavier" than Carbon, such as BIRM, Calcite, Green Sand, Pyrolox, and Gravel under bedding.
And that is the reason for the higher Backwash Flow Rating per Tank Diameter.
