1.05 Top Distributor .010 - .013 Glue type Screen. Used on many Fleck Valves before the Twist On Valve design ( valves made before 1997 ).

* Also used on metal valve adapters and held in place with screws, PN 13748 ( older Fleck 2500, and model 9000 valves ).

While PVC cement can be used to assemble the part to the Valve, the manufacturer recommends using MEK ( Methyl Ethyl Ketone ), sometimes called Butanone, which can usually be found near the Turpentine section of large hardware stores. This is not a "glue" but a "solvent" that will "melt" the two plastics enough to allow you to "fuse" the two pieces ( Distributor and Valve Body ) together.
Sets up fast ( in less than 30 seconds )
so apply to the wide opening of the Distributor -- AND -- to the Valve Body,
THEN put the pieces together quickly.
Hold firmly together for 1 minute, and they should be "glued" together from that point on.
