Description
4" diameter x 36" height Slotted at bottom Brine Well used sometimes in 40" tall Brine tanks.
Common size tanks use the
4 x 30 Brine Well,
and NOT this 4 x 36, so be sure before ordering.
Be sure to order at least one 4" brine well cap to go with it.
The Brine Well is normally held in place by the Over Flow Elbow ( sold separately if you need a new one ).
Note: You will need to drill holes to line up with existing connections.
The purpose of the Brine Well is allow the use of a Brine Safety Shut Off Pick Up Tube.
When using a straight pickup tube, without a float shut off, no Brine Well is required.
Brine Caps ( 4" ) sold separately,
and typically you need a least one for the top opening, and the bottom cap is optional ( commonly not covered, since it sits on the bottom of the brine tank.
NOTE:
The Slotted portion of the BW4036 starts 3 3/8" from the bottom and the slotted portion is a 2 1/16" section. ( our diagram is not to scale ).
