This is the size of Brine Line Tubing used by most Fleck, Autotrol, Clack, and Erie Valves.

Outer Diameter is 3/8" ( 0.375 ) and Inner Diameter is 1/4" ( 0.250 ).

Note: Some brands use a slightly smaller size ( O.D. ) -- Sears Kenmore ( GE Smartwater, Whirlpool, North Star, Mortons )
