Metered Control Upgrade for the Autotrol 268 Performa / 460i timer is this 760 Logix Kit ( AP1255008 ) with Indoor ( open face ) Cover as shown unless you request Outdoor Cover.
Required you already have the
Meter Turbine, our PN AP1033444, and the
12 volt Transformer ( our PN AP44149 ), or you can purchase those separately.
Print Instructions included, as well are our Video LINKS below, to guide you through the retrofitting and programming.Will replace the 460i Timer ( 12 volt and 60 Hz ) as a more advanced and durable metering control timer.
Also available in 50 Hz for an additional charge, and you must Select that voltage option for use Outside USA ( in countries that don't use 120 volt 60 Hz, but instead use 230 volt 50 Hz power sources ).
If you are wanting to convert from a 440, or 440i, 6 or 7 Day timer to the meter electronic demand timer you should purchase a complete new
Autotrol Valve with the 760 Logix controller.
Otherwise ( to convert and not replace the Whole Valve Head ) you'd need to purchase Separately the Turbine assembly ( AP1032350 ) and transformer, if you don't already have one ( used with 440i, but not 440, or 440iHV timers ).
Can be done, but would be more cost effective to purchase the Entire Valve ( all new Valve Body and Parts ) then attempt to Upgrade from non-metered ( 440, 440i ) to metered ( Logix 760 ).
The 460i timer is slowly being phased out, and replaced by the newer LOGIX timers.
NOTE: LOGIX timers do not "fit" directly on a 440 or 460 top plate, so this Upgrade KIT is Required to switch to 760 Logix Timer, if you want to upgrade your control valve.
The Autotrol 255 and 268 Performa Valves are available with the LOGIX timers. Also, available for the model Autotrol 255 ( order PN AP1255006 ). Key feature of the Logix timer:
* Single motor provides all the power to turn camshaft - no solenoids are needed!
* Valve may be indexed manually without power in the event of an extended power outage.
