QUESTION: How hard would it be to remove these parts without the Puller Tool?

ANSWER: I've never used this Puller Tool, and have always found a way to remove the Seals & Spacers with basic hand tools,

and by making a "wire hook" to get the ones deeper in the valve body out.

However, the Puller tool is made for the job, and can save you time and trouble.
