Used in Commercial Tank re-bedding as a primary layer of Gravel ( with 1/8 x 1/4 sized gravel used on top of this slightly larger gravel ), prior to installing media ( Resin in commercial sized water softener with tank diameter of 21 inches or more ).

21 inch tank = 100 lbs. of 1/2 x 1/4 and then 50 lbs. of 1/4 x 1/8
24 inch tank = 150 lbs.of 1/2 x 1/4 and then 100 lbs. of 1/4 x 1/8
30 inch tank = 250 lbs. of 1/2 x 1/4 and then 100 lbs. of 1/4 x 1/8

36 inch tank = 350 lbs. of 1/2 x 1/4 and then 150 lbs. of 1/4 x 1/8
