Transformer Conversion Option
Transformer WS1 AC Adapter 120 volt / 12 volt pn V3186 for Clack WS1 Valve and other "brands" that use the Clack type of valve under their private label.
* Test the two outer wires for current. The outer black and white only carry the voltage.
NOTE: Clack starting sending valves with a
15 volt DC transformer after 2017 ( PN V3186-06 )
- sold with new Valves / newer Control Boards.
The older
AC 12 volt transformer ( V3186 ) will operate both Old and New style control boards.
This transformer ( AC 12 volt V3186 ) is
Obsolete
( no longer available for purchase ).
If you system is not too old ( before 2017 ), you might be able to use the new DC transformer.
Or you can ADAPT your wiring to use a different AC transformer.

All Clack control
boards made before 2014 will only work with this AC transformer.
And the
3 button TC boards made before 2017 will only work with this AC transformer.
All boards made
AFTER 2017 ( and some after 2014 ) will work with either the older AC transformer,
or the newer
( V3186-06 ) DC transformer.
The AC transformer is no longer being made ( as of July 1st, 2021 ),
but we should have a enough to continue providing them for several years to come.
When the available stock gets "LOW",
we will mark the Availability as "Limited Stock",
and will provide our current ( remaining ) stock level in the product description.
If you have an older Clack Control Board that requires AC ( will not work with newer DC transformer ),
you can use any 12 volt AC transformer of 500 ma or higher as the power source.

Just cut the wire off your old transformer ( close to the actual transformer ),
and connect the two wires ( one white and one black ) to your AC transformer.
NOTE: Since it's AC ( alternating current ) there is NO Polarity, so it will not matter which wire is connect to which connect to your replacement transformer.
And just so you "know", it's only the Black Wire and the Outer White Wire that are used.
The two "Center" White Wires are NOT used ( that are just there to hold the "space" in the 4 pin connector used with Clack power connections to their boards.
