Hankscraft R0005, in/out distributor head with a 1.05" distributor ( riser pipe ) opening.Includes distributor oring and top of tank oring. Is molded to use "twist on" top distributors ( like our MD1203 ).The distributor head is molded of rugged composite plastic.The distribution head is designed for single in-out applications on simple filters such as sediment removal, taste, odor or pH neutralization. This economical head fits onto standard 2-1/2" - 8 NPSM tank openings.The advantages with this version of the in/out head is that it uses the standard Fleck Yoke and By Pass for connecting to your water lines.* NOTE ---- a yoke or by pass option is REQUIRED if you don't already have one.This parallel piping connection is easier and makes for a neater installation.Ports for "tapping" in with 1/8" Gas Off Vent ( 71autovent ).* NOTE: You would need to drill and tap the port if you need to screw into the head.The head is not pre-drilled or tapped.Also, it can be Reversed ( from downflow to upflow ) without changing Inlet and Outlet piping.Replacement Top of Tank O-ring = 3412281, same as used on most Fleck, Hankscraft, and Autotrol residential valve to tank connections.Can be used to replace Rainsoft QSR filter head ( 19574 ), that uses Bypass adapter ( 19245 ) with By Pass 60049 ( 17557 ), but does not have a "flow control" and should not need one, if Top Distributor MD1203 is installed on this IN & OUT Head.
