541-290-11 Egg Timer Assembly 72356 ( shipping 72357, as they don't make 72356 any longer ).
The 72357 has BSP ( British Pipe Threaded ) opening, and therefore now includes a barbed elbow fitting.
The fitting threads into the drain port, and allows the use of 1/2" I.D. ( 5/8" O.D. ) drain hose.
Also, we have been told you can use 1/2" NPT fitting if you use a lot of Teflon Tape.
This is a non-pressurized connection, so you can get it to "hold" with a lot of Teflon Tape ( when using 1/2" NPT male fitting ).

This is just the Timer Portion of the Valve ( as shown ).
