** We supply repair parts. You did not pay us "income", as we were not "working" for you. Nor was the transaction related to real estate, or other financial transactions as listed in the "Purpose of Form".
And the transaction ( payment ) made to does not fall under the "Purpose" of Form W-9.

We are not required to submit Form W-9 due to the nature of the transaction and most purchases do not exceed the monetary threshold ( $ 600 ) requirement for W-9, and 1099-misc filings.
It was simply a purchase, the same as if you bought it from Walmart, Home Depot, or online stores such as Amazon.
No 1099-misc will be issued by your company in regards to this purchase, so again, no reason for you to have our Tax I.D. on file.
Any transaction ( payment ) made to should be considered the same as any other retail store purchase.
If you review the wording that accompanies the Form W-9, it should be clear that the transaction ( payment ) made with our company does not follow into the requirements for filing of an informational return.
