Fleck 3200 timer problems - if "stalling" or not "advancing".
Last Updated: 06/19/2019
CUSTOMER PROBLEM:
I have replaced the Main Piston and Seals Kit, but valve keeps hanging up on backwash. I need parts for Model 2500 as shown on the Fleck parts on your site
The problem is the cycle for backwashing is not starting at time set. When I start it manually it won't stop until I manually stop it.
In other words the backwash cycle is not automatically working by the timer.

** Possible Solutions to a "tricky" problem ( 3200 timer used on Fleck 2500,2510, 2750, 2850 and top of 2900 valves ).
Timer assembly has a Timer motor ( is that working )?
Two micro switches that "trip" and "engage" the program wheel.... ( one of them could be bad ),
and
Then two micro switches ride the Main Cam ( that moves the Piston IN & OUT ), and one of them can fail.
**
So, it's hard to PIN POINT the Exact cause based on your description.
And it's the kind of problem typically solved by Trial and Error ( replacing the various switches sometimes "fixes" the problem ).

and

and switches in timer,
and
and switches on Main Cam = TWO of the same Switch,
and the Whole Power Head,
