Tools Kit 60135-2510 for Service 1500, 2500, 2510 Seals & Spacers
Last Updated: 09/20/2011
My manual indicates Service Repair Kit #60135-2510, does this include all parts and tools, and what is the cost?

The PN 60135-2510 "Service Kit" is no longer available.
It did NOT include any of the "parts" needed to repair / rebuild the Valve.
Fleck "created" this assortment of items for the "kit", but NO ONE BOUGHT THEM.
The reasons being:
1 ) The cost was very high
2 ) Most dealers would not need to purchase a "nut driver" ( 12664 ), "Socket Adapter" ( 16906 ), Socket 7/16" ( 12665 ), as they already owned these common tools,
AND
The "seal hook" ( 12874 ) is just a stiff piece of wire that Fleck wanted about $ 20 for ... I've never "seen" one, much less used one.
AND The "puller" ( 13061 ) is not necessary ( was also expensive ), as your fingers or regular hand tools work just fine.
** So, the ONLY part of the "KIT" that is useful is the STUFFER TOOL ( 11098 ), and we stock / sell these.
***********
** To FIX the LEAK out the Piston, all you "NEED" is the Piston Assembly,
see:
If your water is chlorinated or high in Iron, you might want / need to change the Seals & Spacers while you have it all a part,
see:
And that is when the Stuffer Tool would be useful ( to put the new Seals into the valve body ).
