Description
Backwash only Fleck 5600 with 12 Day skipper wheel.
"L" style ( if you don't have this style and cover already, then you might want to order the COVER - option ).
Uses 120 volt 60 Hz AC, with 24 volt 60 Hz AC transformer INCLUDED.
This change ( no 120 volt motor / power cord ) was made for the "L" version by the manufacturer for valves made after January 2022.
Commonly used on tanks for backwashing Carbon, Birm, and Acid Neutralizing Medium such as Calcite.
Power head is the "L" Style which uses the Designer Cover (which is sold separately).

Note:
"Carbon Filter" assumes the media tank is using only Carbon with Gravel under bedding. And requires the installation of a Top Distributor which we provide with each Valve ( MD1203 ).
"Filter Backwash" assumes the media tank is using something "Heavier" than Carbon, such as BIRM, Calcite, Green Sand, Pyrolox, and Gravel under bedding.
And that is the reason for the higher Backwash Flow Rating per Tank Diameter.
