Logix Blending Valve Kit for Autotrol 255 and Performa ( 268 ) models that use new logix top plate ( will not work with older 440, 460 series ).

Kit P/N: 1239760 Nut (18-8, 10-32) Adjusting Screw (10-32 x 1.5")
Installation (Figure 1) Insert nut (A) into the slot located near the bypass valve disc:
#2 valve disc for Performa valves
#4 valve disc for 255 valves
Insert adjusting screw (B) through top plate and then through nut.

Operation (Figure 2) Tightening the adjusting screw will force the bypass valve disc open (C) and allow hard water to blend into the treated water supply. Loosening the adjusting screw allows the bypass valve disc to close. To blend a certain amount of hardness back into the water, adjust the screw and test the water. Repeat screw adjustment and testing until the desired hardness level is reached.
