QUESTION about New Switch Purchased -
I bought this switch and installed it.
Over the weekend my softener began showing the same error and the motor continues to run.
Is there a warranty with the switch I just bought?

RECOMMENDATIONS:


You can test the operation of the switch with an OHM meter to see if it works ( shows when Open and Close circuit ).
The switch is covered under our 90 days electric warranty ( no warranty from manufacturer ).
Please note, we have never had a new switch be defective.
AND the problem that creates the ERROR has several other possible causes ( wiring connection corrosion at switch or board ),
or
a damaged Cam Gear ( a tooth of the gear broke off ).
or
an incorrect "placement" of the switch ( and possible cracked or broken support "post" that holds the switch against the Cam Gear ).

And in some cases, it can be the PWA board it's self ( but you always want to Rule Out the more simple causes first ),
If you return the Switch, we can test it, and send a replacement if the switch is defective. Or issue a refund.
