Fleck 3900 Valve - 3" Backwash Only, on 36" x 72" x 6" flanged Tank, with Carbon and Gravel included (shipping included for 48 States of US )
The 3900 Valve is modified for Backwashing with water only, and uses single tank mechanical 12 day timer.
Rated for 70 gpm with 15 psi pressure drop and 100 gpm 25 gpm psi pressure drop service flow rates.
Composite 36" x 72" x 6" flange top opening tank with distributor pipe and bottom hub & lateral
20 cubic feet of activated coconut shell CARBON
150 lbs 1/4" x 1/8" gravel and 350 lbs. of 1/2 x 1/4 gravel for support bed

Estimated Freight shipping weight 1800 lbs. ( including pallets ) ****** Note: Installation should NOT be attempted by inexperienced personal. Contact local water treatment dealer or advanced commercial plumber for assistance. Also note that this is a 2 man job to install everything.

Available in ALMOND or by special request, a BLACK Tank.

Estimate 3 week LEAD time before shipping of this system.

NOTE: This has a mechanical 12 day timer, that you would set to backwash every night ? or at least once every 6th day, at night ( pre-set time to start is 2 a.m. but can be adjusted if necessary ) .
And it will "run" for approximately 30 minutes and then return tank back online.
And water will still be available while backwashing ( just not "filtered" and the Valve will be using 65 gpm to Backwash ).
