This TFC Membrane works on Well or City water supplies.
If you are on chlorinated "city" water, you should use a Carbon Block Prefilter ( like our 10" Carbon Block Matrikx CTO 2 - 5 Micron PN DCS1258 ).

NOTE: The 50 GPD TFC membrane is commonly used as a replacement for the 25 GPD TFC, as few dealers use / stock the older 25 GPD TFC.
