Okay, you ask, WHAT IS THIS TANK ADAPTER??
It is a gray Noryl plastic fitting which provides a way to screw a standard ( Fleck or Autotrol ) valve to your Sears style "clamp on" tank opening. Now you can reuse your resin and salt tank, and upgrade to a professional quality control valve ( Such as the Fleck 5600 Econominder or Autotrol 255-460i )
