The old style tanks are Fiberglass with a height of 55 inches and a diameter of 36 inches. The new style tanks are a heavy plastic with a height of 60 inches and a diameter of 32 inches. The smaller foot print, locking cover, center funnel drain, and smooth easy to clean finish are all improvements over the traditional fiberglass tanks.

Note: The above systems require a pump to fill the tank and another pump to draw the water out to send to the home. Pressurized holding tanks are required with most water pumps. The above tanks should not be used indoors. The tanks can be used alone on sulfur levels up to 5 ppm.

Automatic Regeneration for Well Water Odor

Basic system includes automatic control valve, mineral tank ( 10" d x 44" h ), One Cubic Foot of Highly Activated Carbon, a round poly feeder tank ( 5 gallon - not pictured ), owners installation/service manual, and technical support phone number. You will  need to connect inlet, outlet, and drain line. Requires 5 gpm to properly Backwash ( usually once every 6 days ). Plug into electric and add chlorine tablets ( available at pool supply stores without stabilizers additives ) or liquid bleach to operate. Plumbing connections are 3/4" unless you ask for 1" ( no extra charge ). Five years parts warranty on Valve and Tanks. The By Pass option is recommended ( for an additional $ 35.00 ).

This system works well up to 1 ppm of Hydrogen Sulfide. Larger systems available. Please email for specifics ( include your water analysis results, please ). We will not sell this unit to you, until we are confident it will work on your water quality. Higher levels of Hydrogen Sulfide require larger tanks, or other types of treatment equipment. For chlorine removal tanks See < Carbon Tanks >.

The carbon is warranted for 1 year and should last about 5 years. In most cases, it is required to have a water softener ahead of the Carbon tank to remove hardness, iron, and tannins ( yellow-brown color ).
The carbon can be replaced for $ 85.00 when the time comes that it is
necessary. See < Resins, Carbon, Tanks >

Who Manufactures Your Filtration Systems?

Our water systems are assembled at a wholesale O.E.M. using either Fleck or Autotrol valves according to our specifications. We use Kavey Water Equipment, a Crane Co.,  located in Venice, FL. They use all new NSF approved materials. You will find this to be the case for most equipment manufacturers in the water treatment industry. The best part is, the
components used are standardized and not proprietary ( like Culligan, Rainsoft, Kinetico, and Ecowater ). You will have easy access to parts when you need them ( many years from now ). All dealers have access to Fleck and Autotrol parts ( the control valves we use ).The tanks are standard in sizing and threading. The resin is made in the U.S.A. to the highest industry standards.
There are perhaps a thousand different companies manufacturing water softeners. Most use Fleck and Autotrol valves. A few use proprietary valves and sell only through franchised dealers ( Culligan, Ecowater, Kinetico, and Rainsoft ). Their systems are not necessarily any better than a comparable model using a Fleck or an Autotrol valve, they just usually cost more and require that you return to them for service ( since they are the only source for parts for their unique valves ).
