You will need to add resins to the tank with funnel provided, screw valve onto tank, and then connect inlet, outlet, and drain line.
Plug into electric and add salt to operate. The By Pass Plumbing connections are 3/4" unless you ask for 1" ( no extra charge ). Five years parts warranty.
