The 1600 Brine Valve is rarely used on the Fleck 9500, as it is only 3/8" O.D. and the larger 1/2" O.D. is more common ( part # 60039 ).
This part should be replaced if the brine refill never stops.

The 1600 ( or 3/8" tubing size ) valve is normally used on softener tanks up to 16" in diameter.
Larger commercial valves will use the 1700 ( or 1/2" tubing size ), part # 60039 ( see our part 3460039 ).

NOTE: The Brine Line Flow Control portion is sold separately, but you should be able to re-use the one you have currently.
