Replaces old brass shut off float pick up assemblies.
Requires you have a Brine Well that is inside 3 1/2 " or 4" diameter.

NOTE: Shut Off is at the BOTTOM, which may be different than your older version ( which typically were at the top )
and the tubing connection is made at the "top" with included 3/8" Elbow ( AFTER cutting to your required height ).

Clack's 464 Brine Safety Float Pickup Tube comes 35" tall and can replace most old brass type brine shut off assemblies. Comes with 3/8" Union Elbow ( 58506SG ).
NOTE: This can be cut down to fit your salt tank.

How far off the bottom should the brine pickup tube go ? (Touch the bottom, 1" off, etc.).
*** Normally touching the bottom, but also okay if slightly above.

Also at what level should the shut off float be placed?
*** As high as it will go. Above the 50% level of your brine tank, but below any Overflow fitting you might have ( usually installed about the 75 - 80% height level of the brine tank ).
