Our 56PSKit includes
Main Piston Assembly 60102-00 ( for water softeners ),
Seals and Spacers 60125,
Brine Valve Piston 60032
Over time the wear and tear on the Pistons and Seals can cause the Valve to become STUCK in the regeneration cycle.
Replacing these 3 assemblies will usually restore the softener valve to like new condition.
The Fleck Manual also recommends replacing the Injector Drain Module Orings listed below ( 3456IDMO ).
It is not normally necessary to replace the oring ( 13302 ) in the Brine Valve "hole".
Note there are 2 of these o-rings ( 13302 ), and one comes on the new Brine Valve Piston Assembly ( 60032 ).
If you want or feel you need this extra o-ring, please order it separately.
And other less common reasons that it might be "binding", or still getting stuck after replacing the Piston and Seals.
If you have a Backwashing Only valve, that does not use a Brine Valve ( 60032 ), then you should order the Backwash Filter Piston and Seals for 5600 Backwash ONLY Valves
( 3456PSKITBACKWASH ).
